Dr. George Reardon formal Owner of West Hartford Home (now dead) had a dirty a secret. While doing renovations on the place they found a secret compartment that had 50,000 35mm slides and more than 100 8mm movie reels of child pornography. Investigators said Wednesday that they have set out to find the victims, saying identifying them could lead to others who possessed the images or were otherwise involved.

Magnesium Mystery Put Out

Former plant worker Darrin K. Dettra pleaded guilty to setting the AMACOR magnesium fire causing over $12 million in damage. County Prosecuters have agreed to give Dettra a 30 year prison sentence. If he was convicted by trial he could of faced a 50 year prison sentence.

Lightning On Venus

Scientist Christopher Russell, a NASA-sponsored scientist on Venus Express from the University of California, Los Angeles has discovered that there is lightning on Venus. There are only three other plants in our solar system that can generate electricity, Earth, Jupiter and Saturn. The lighting on Venus though is not normal lightning. It is not discharged from water clouds but from sulferic acid clouds. It is important when u find lighting on a new planet because the electrical discharges drive the chemistry of an atmosphere by breaking molecules into fragments that can then join with other fragments in unexpected ways.
